I've been working all week to cover up the red of our dining walls with primer. If it weren't such a deep color, or if the walls weren't wood paneling, it would probably have been done in one night, but what a nightmare! I hope I never have to paint this room again :)
So here is the before picture of the dining room (that's the previous owner's furniture and art):
So here is the color I chose to paint it - Raccoon Hollow by Benjamin Moore:
Table: Ikea Vika Amon - we got a larger size
Chairs: Shell Bentwood dinette chairs in natural wood
Pendant light: DIY natural twine light
Mirror: retro yellow frame mirror like this one on Retrorenovation
Terrarium: Sea and Aster's Tillandsia and Billy Buttons in globe
Stools: Roxo stools, Ikea
Curtains: sheer white
I'm hoping to have it all put together by the end of next week! The pendant light will be a bit of a project - I still have to find a balloon big enough.
What are your plans for this Labor Day weekend? I'm up a little further north in Michigan to visit the in-laws.
