| Current living room setup and decor |
I'm the type that hates saying goodbye to the holiday season, so we didn't take down our Christmas tree and decor until last weekend. Once I got my living room back in order, I realized that it just didn't feel right anymore. I hated having my teal chair in a "reading nook" that nobody ever read books in - I wanted it to be part of the room.
Our living room is extremely awkward to set up. It's long and narrow, with either a hallway, window, entryway, or fireplace on every wall. There's not a single anchor wall, so all of the furniture has to be floated. Luckily I'm okay with that, but that doesn't make it less of a pain in the ass.

After finalizing the new setup, the orange accents in the room didn't feel right anymore. I was kind of expecting that - being the first home I've ever decorated, I thought I'd experiment a bit before I found what feels right.
I ended up moving all of my bright orange and tangerine pieces into my bedroom. I'll give an update on that as soon as it doesn't look like a complete disaster zone.
