They're the top three things that I love this week. They may be sweet, they may be smart, or they may be just to eat...
► This duck is absolutely adorable. Despite being an almost-30 year old mother of two, sometimes I come across toys that I'd like to keep for myself, and they're almost always on Etsy. This softie handmade duck toy is by Decorshop on Etsy, and believe me, it's not the only thing I love in their store: there are plush horsies, fabric placemats, sweet little dogs in dresses... just go take a look!
► I may be going a bit overboard with the apples lately, but when I discovered this Bourbon Bomber cocktail by The Boys Club uses not only apple cider, but rosemary (my favorite herb!), it really stuck in my mind. I haven't tried it yet, but considering we have a fair amount of bourbon on hand (thanks to my husband, a huge fan of the movie Casablanca), it's happening. Soon.
► Finally... I came across this colored leaf garland on Pinterest, and was delighted to find it was created by Lauran Saylor of A Fabulous Fete. Lauren was our Featured Artist in December 2010, taught us a thing or two about throwing a party, and contributed to Snowed In Magazine last year. This DIY dried leaf garland project uses a gorgeous combination of painted leaves and gold thread to create a unique decoration - go take a look on A Fabulous Fete!
